Arrive at Leh Airport, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Since Leh sits at an altitude of around 3,500 meters, the day is reserved for rest and acclimatization. Take time to relax, hydrate well, and allow your body to adjust to the altitude.
In the evening, if you feel comfortable, take a gentle stroll through the Leh market, where traditional Tibetan handicrafts, prayer flags, and cozy cafés create a welcoming atmosphere.
Overnight stay in Leh
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive west of Leh to explore the cultural and natural highlights of the Sham Valley. Begin the day with a visit to the Hall of Fame, a museum maintained by the Indian Army that showcases Ladakh’s military history, bravery stories, and exhibits related to the Kargil conflict.
Continue towards the spectacular Indus–Zanskar Confluence (Sangam), where the emerald waters of the Indus River meet the darker Zanskar River, creating one of the most iconic landscapes in Ladakh.
Further along the route, visit Alchi Monastery, renowned for its rare Kashmiri-influenced murals and ancient Buddhist artwork. Later, continue to Likir Monastery, beautifully set on a hilltop and home to a towering statue of Maitreya Buddha.
On the return journey, stop at the fascinating Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to move uphill due to a natural optical illusion, and visit the revered Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.
Return to Leh by evening.

After an early breakfast, depart from Leh for an unforgettable journey into the remote landscapes of the Changthang Plateau. The drive takes you through vast high-altitude plains, scattered villages, and nomadic settlements that offer a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of Ladakh’s Changpa community.
Arrive at the breathtaking Tso Moriri Lake, one of the most pristine and beautiful lakes in Ladakh, located at an altitude of around 4,500 meters. The deep blue waters of the lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and open plains, create a spectacular Himalayan panorama.
Visit the historic Korzok Monastery, located in the small village of Korzok on the shores of the lake. This centuries-old monastery belongs to the Drukpa lineage and offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
Spend the evening soaking in the tranquility of the lake, enjoying the changing colors of the landscape as the sun sets over the Changthang mountains.

Overnight stay near Tso Moriri
Wake up to a serene morning beside Tso Moriri Lake, surrounded by the vast landscapes of the Changthang region. After breakfast, set out to explore the expansive Changthang Plains, one of Ladakh’s most remote and ecologically rich high-altitude regions.
Spend the day experiencing the unique lifestyle of the Changpa nomads with opportunities for nomadic interactions, where you can learn about their traditional way of life, pashmina goat herding, and seasonal migrations across the plateau. Guests can also enjoy a horseback safari across the open plains, offering a beautiful way to experience the dramatic Himalayan scenery.
The wetlands and lakes of Changthang are a haven for wildlife and birdlife. Enjoy bird watching and wildlife spotting, with chances to see rare species such as the black-necked crane, bar-headed geese, Himalayan marmots, and the Tibetan wild ass (Kiang).
After a day immersed in Ladakh’s untouched wilderness, return to Korzok Village by evening and relax by the lake as the mountains glow in the setting sun.
Overnight stay near Tso Moriri / Korzok
After breakfast, bid farewell to the serene shores of Tso Moriri Lake and begin the scenic journey back to Leh through the dramatic landscapes of the Changthang region.
Enroute, visit Tso Kar Lake, often called the “White Lake” due to the salt deposits along its shores. The surrounding wetlands are an important habitat for migratory birds and wildlife, making it an excellent location for photography and bird watching.
Continue the drive through the fascinating geothermal landscape of Puga Valley, where steaming vents and mineral-rich formations create a unique high-altitude environment. Stop at the nearby Puga Hot Springs to witness the natural geothermal activity of the region.
Further along the journey, cross the majestic Taglang La (Taglang La), one of the highest motorable mountain passes in the world at an altitude of around 5,328 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.
Continue the drive back to Leh, arriving by evening. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or explore the lively Leh market.
